I am working on projects in South and Central America, Middle East and the United Kingdom. Is anyone familiary with green labels or certifications available in these locations that indicate compliance with the LEED v4 requirements?

Hi Hrisa, eligible type-1 ecolabels are listed here: https://www.globalecolabelling.net/eco/green-certification-by-country.

Hi Trista, this website doesn't mention anything about South and Central America, the Middle East or the UK. Does this mean there are no available labels there?
Thanks!

Hi Hrisa, I believe that list encompasses all of the eligible programs, based on the way the International Tips section of the Reference Guide is written. It says, "For projects outside the U.S., any Type 1 ecolabeling program as defined by ISO 14024–1999 developed by a member of the Global Ecolabelling Network may be used in lieu of Green Seal or UL Ecologo standards." The Global Ecolabelling Network website should therefore have a complete list of member ecolabel programs.
That said, it might be possible to make the case to USGBC / GBCI that another ecolabel should be accepted in a country that isn't listed. I'm not sure if it's impossible, but it might be a little tricky.
Did you see that the EU Ecolabel is on the list? Maybe that's an option for buildings in the UK.
