Innovation - Green Building Education

1) The eligible pre-approved options for Innovation credits for CS projects can be found here: https://www.usgbc.org/credits/core-and-shell/v4/innovation-catalog

While Green Cleaning used to be its own strategy under v3, it is now included as a partial option under the "LEED O+M Starter Kit" credit option located on the above page.

2) For our projects where we use the tour as one of the two required components, we have had success in developing a graphic of the project (like an illustrated floorplan(s)) that numbers numerous sustainable aspects of the project, along with a legend detailing what each numbered item is showcasing. Depending on the project, it can be used as a guide/narrative for a person giving a tour, or could be used as a guide for an individual completing a self-guided tour.

We have done this for several secure facilities, too. I believe the intent is for the tour to be available to building occupants and visitors, even if it's by request. I doubt there are many buildings that are OK with anyone from the general public coming in and taking themselves on a tour through the spaces whenever they want.

Have you had any experience with a virtual tour? Our building will be city-owned, but not really open to the public. We were thinking a virtual tour could allow the public to see the sustainable features, but wouldn't require physically showing people around. 

It's been a while (maybe even back to v2.2), but I did have a project that offered a virtual tour on their website. I provided screenshots/PDFs of the website pages showing all the provided info.

I have heard of other projects using QR codes around a building, or even just at the front desk. I believe this is acceptable as a portion of the strategy but cannot be provided as the only way to get the info (not considered equitably accessible for everyone).
