Hi,
did anybody flag "Non default gender mix" in the calculator?
Because I have a project with 60% of male and 40% of female but I can not insert these percentages in the calculator. I can not find the way to modify default Gender Ratio (50/50).
Thank you very much

Hi Caterina,
Projects are only allowed to change the default gender ratio on very specific projects. Examples are things like an all-male or all-female school. Military projects also have an approved exception based on historical data and projections. It is rarely allowed for other project types.
If your project is not a specialty type, and you think your project may need an exception, you should contact LEED Coach and confirm before assuming the calcs for your submission.

If you hit "Non default geneder mix" option in the calculator, the buttons of female and male number will be enabled to you to insert your numbers, but you have to submit a supportive narrative.

Hi Caterina,
Agree with Emily and Ahmed,
As LEED states on page 276 that acceptable special circumstances include projects specifically designed for an alternative gender ratio, such as a single-gender educational facility.
And on page 272 states the different assumptions from default must be supported by a narrative and supporting data to confirm that the alternate ratio applies for the life of the building. Supporting data for example documentation of the code-required plumbing fixture counts per gender so that the review team can verify that the flush-fixture ratio installed in the project supports the alternative gender ratio.
