Dear everyone,
Do you know to determine the FTE for two toilet rooms with the showerhead, water closet, urinal, public lavatory faucet in the basement where the main function of this basement are parking, technical facility, general storage, bicycle storage(35 bicycle storage).
my project is an office building (Core & Shell) with 9 floors above grade, 5 basements below grade
Basement number 2 is where I mention
I want to fill the LEED v4 Indoor Water Use Reduction Calculator but I do not know how to determine the FTE for this basement
Can someone else help me, please!
Thanks!

Hi Hung, it sounds like this restroom would serve people who use the bicycle parking and shower? In that case I would use the same number of FTE as you use for the LT Bicycle Facilities credit.
And then you would need to change the daily uses manually, since the default is 3 WC/lavatory uses per day and this restroom would only be one use per day.

One quick follow-up here - Core/Shell projects do not calculate FTEs for the Prereqs/Credits. A default occupancy is typically used that represents the whole building using the appendix in the Ref Guide. I have never tried using an actual FTE for a CS project, though it would seem logical that the more realistic representation would be allowed.
Still, if your project has a reason to use actuals, you'll probably want to either provide a narrative with your calcs explaining why, or check with LEED Coach.
