Noting that an equivalent to IEQc3.2 is not available within the LEED-CS rating system, is it safe to assume that future tenant space(s) within a LEED-NC project would not be subject to IAQ testing requirements?

Summer, while there is no IEQc3.2 IAQ test option for the CS certification the future tenant space projects (assuming CI or NC) would be eligible to attempt the credit with the option to flush the space or IAQ test, but not required to adhere to the credit requirements.

Thanks Thomas. I appreciate your response and understand that future tenants may choose to test as part of a LEED CI scope. My question is, does a LEED NC space need to test in unfinished future tenant spaces as part of their IEQc3.2 scope?

That's a good question. My experience as the IAQ professional performing the testing is that if the space has the ventilation systems connected and balanced and the finishes are installed (walls, celling, paints flooring) we included the space in the IAQ testing scope. If those items were not in place we excluded the area as unoccupied. It has never been an issue with the reviewer to date.
