Hello,
Please let me know where I can find definitions for the following.
a. Mechanically ventilated spaces
b. Naturally ventilated
c. Mechanically conditioned
e. Naturally conditioned
Also, IEQc1 and IEQc2 have conditions a and b only; please clarify.

a. Mechanically ventilated spaces - Fan powered outside air distribution.
b. Naturally ventilated - Operable windows providing outside air. Could also be vents on the outside walls at various locations to promote air movement from the outside in.
c. Mechanically conditioned - Heating and Cooling provided by mechanical means. Eg. Boiler, Chiller, providing hot and cold water to a AHU coil to or a radiant floor/ceiling, etc.
d. Naturally conditioned - Passive methods of heating and cooling only. Eg operable windows with cross ventilation, using thermal mass, etc.
Not sure why they ask for "C" and "D," your're right they don't change the form...
