For the Low emitting materials- adhesives & sealants, there are 3 adhesives that are between 195 and 320 g/l over the VOC limit. I am using the Special purpose contact adhesive limit. My question is, since there are a total of 10 other adhesives for this specific product installation (millwork) but only 3 are over the limit, can I still use them without losing this credit? The other 7 being used are between 0 g/l to 80 g/l.

If you have some materials that are over the allowed VOC level, it isn't necessarily a lost cause. Under "FAQ's for IEQc4.1" there is information concerning the VOC budget level. Basically, you are going to need to prove that your VOC "overage" is counterbalanced by your low VOC products. This will require you getting the amounts of "over-VOC" products used, and also the amounts of some of your "way under-VOC" products and doing some math.
Ideally, the millwork isn't yet installed and you can try to push back on the contractors to use VOC compliant adhesives. If they are working on a LEED project, they should know better. I would also think the specs would have called out the requirement of VOC-compliant adhesives. There are definitely VOC compliant adhesives out there. Good luck!
