We are pursuing an ID credit for LEED certification under New Construction. When filling out the LEED EBOM-2009 form for IEQp3: Green Cleaning Policy, I have two problems:
1- It requires performance period start and end. Is this portion of the form specific to EBOM? What dates should I insert? I thought I would insert as starting period the date of the program being in place, which is after substantial completion. For the end date, I wrote N/A and explained below that this project is not pursuing EBOM. What do you think?
2- The form does not show compliance because I am filling it out offline. Do I submit the form attached as a PDF anyway?

Hi Luciana,
The performance period is specific to EBOM but translates to new construction projects basically as the implementation period. I wouldn’t worry too much about the form inputs, since GBCI will understand that your situation is different from EBOM. I think your solution to use N/A with a narrative is perfect. I’d also be sure to fill out the “Time Period” section of the policy (which is included in the policy template in the Documentation Toolkit tab) since this is where you really demonstrate that the policy will be followed on an ongoing basis.
For your second question, I’d complete and submit the PDF form to demonstrate that you’re meeting all of the requirements. But again, don’t worry about the form not showing compliance - the reviewers will understand your situation.

I just went to look for it for you and interestingly enough it does not required owner's signature anymore nor performance period dates.
