Our building team was not able to collect the daily journals from occupants, because occupants did not want to handle pen/paper or come in close proximity with others. We tried setting up an online blog but had no success in recieving occupant journal entries. We are curious as to how other projects were able to comply with this requirement.

I noticed that USGBC.org now does have several notices about the ongoing pandemic and shifts in procedures and policies as time goes on in ragrds to this credit as well as a clause that states "These special pilot credits are awarded based on project teams attempting to meet the requirements to the best of their ability and providing feedback on the requirements. The credits may change as feedback is received." I appreciate these new statements and USGBC's understanding of the changing situation. I think this makes the requirements more adaptable to our individual locations and current situations regarding the pandemic. It's a difficult time right now and we had similar problems with getting responses from our occupants as well. I think USGBC will take all of this into consideration when they review.
