Pilot-Credits SSpc158:Onsite Carbon Sequestration Through Plantings

I-Tree Planting Calculator - lifetime of project

Hi ,

Can someone advise me on what value to input for 'Years of the Project' within the i-Tree Planting tool. Should I use 60 years based on the LCA credit for LEED v4 or can I base this on each project individually (or OPR). I notice the ability to sequester carbon for trees increases with an increase in lifetime of the project.

It would be helpful to have a reference or cheat sheet to guide the selection of species and locations to get the best value for plantings using the i-tool - has anybody found that?

My team just received a comment back that the service life has to be at least 50 years for both the baseline and proposed sites.
