Hi,
I would like to ask 3 simple questions:
1) if a humidifier in proposed AHU is presented, can it be considered as a process load and thus modeled in baseline? For example a spray chamber has significant energy consumption throughout the year. Also it increase indoor air quality and in this point the proposed building is in disadvantage against baseline because baseline does not care about indoor air quality within PRM simulation.
2) Earlier in this forum was discussed the minimum outdoor air rates in zones without OA supply in the baseline (e.g. servers). My question is when the baseline thermal zone has no OA it means that no economizer shall not be included as well? It sound logical for me but G3.1.2.6 states that "...economizer shall be included in baseline systems 3 through 8..." and there is no exception for this neither. So it's not clear to me.
3) I just want to make sure about energy recovery. If the baseline system 7 VAV with design supply airflow of 72500 cfm and Minimum Outdoor Airflow of 32500 cfm, is energy recovery required? According to G3.1.2.10 the energy recovery is required when individual fan system have both a design supply air of 5000 cfm (72500 > 5000) and have a minimum outdoor air supply of 70% or greater (32500/72500 = 45%). So in this case the energy recovery should not be included. Is that right???
Thanks for any answer in advance.

1. It is process and should be modeled identically.
2. Makes sense.
3. Sounds right.
