Hello,
We are looking at using several Cryl-a-Flex products on a project and wondering if the HPD snip showing CDPH v1.2 VOC emissions would suffice as documentation for Low-Emitting Materials VOC Emissions content compliance for paints and coatings?
Has anyone had this accepted?
THANKS!

Hello Rebecca,
I have not seen HPD being accepted for CDPH v1.2 (VOC Emissions) certifcate. Dur-A-Flex Cryl-a-Flex product has Intertek CDPH VOC emission cert, so i woud request with manufacturer or vendor for the cert. Would like to hear others experience on this?

Hi Rebecca,
For emissions, USGBC posts a list of 3rd party certifiations that they accept. https://www.usgbc.org/resources/cdph-list-certifications-use-cdph-standa...
For VOC content, it's best to obtain a technical data sheet, safety data sheet, or letter from the manufacturer. That has been our experience.

Same experience here. The HPD does not incude the lab testing info or the TVOC measures, so it does not qualify as documentation for this credit. Pretty sure I've submitted this same product successfully though, so the qualifying document is out there!
