We are about to consider registering 2 different projects under LEED Gold, however, we are targetting High priority site credit into the score sheet as per the LEED Feasibility. In fact 2 of the projects are in different areas but both of them are close to important landmarks of the entire country. Can we consider these landmarks as high priority and how? the projects are outside the US.

Hi Mohamed, it sounds like you are looking at the historic district option based on proximity to landmarks. The international guidance is a little vague, probably intentionally so that it is flexible: "Projects may attempt this option if a local, national, or international designation indicates that the project site’s neighborhood has significant historic or cultural value."
In the US, the historic district option means that a government agency has defined an area on the map as being a historic or landmark district. Then within that area, there are usually laws about what can be built or how it must be designed to fit in with the historic character of the existing buildings. So if you have some equivalent designation, from any level of government, corresponding to the area around the landmark where your project is located, that should qualify. Ideally you'd be able to provide documentation with a map of the area or listed boundaries that define the historic area.
