I found a contrasting information about how to count the interior structural wall.
In some document it is written that you have to count them for both sides and in some other document there is written the opposite.
Is it correct to count both sides or only one?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Alessio,
Square footage values for reused interior structural walls only include one side of the existing wall element. (This differs from non-structural walls in CI projects where both sides are counted.)

Hi Samantha,
I agree with you but I don't understand why in the Credit Form I have to flag "Square footage values for reused interior structural wall include both sides of the wall" and if I don't select this option I can't complete the credit. There is also an xls file "Building reuse calcolator" under Documentation Toolkit section in which it is written to count double surfaces.
What do I have to do?
Thanks

Are you able to access the 4th version of the form from the LEED Online Sample Forms Download section? It asks for confirmation that "Square footage values for reused interior structural walls only include one side of the existing wall element."

Yes you are right but unfortunately we are under the 3rd version and there is written "Square footage values for reused interior structural wall include both sides of the wall".
What is your suggestion?

If you want to use version 4, you can request a form upgrade through the feedback button in LEED Online v3 (including the specific credit form, project number, project name, and rating system when requesting). If the form weren't linked to the inputs in PIf2, you could just fill out the sample form and upload it to this credit in your project.

To me is easier not to change version, If I stay under 3rd version and I count both sides of the reused interior wall it will be ok, right?

I wouldn't count on it because directions to use only 1 side are also stated under the Calculations section in the Reference Guide. There was just an error in the 3rd form version.

Thank you.
I will report the error on the Feedback form.
