CS-v4 LTc5:Access to quality transit

how is considered Paris’ tramway ?

Hi everyone,

I have some trouble to determine if the Paris’ tramway corresponds to a streetcar or a lightrail regarding the LTc5 credit “Access to quality transit”.

This tramway is made of more than 3 car trains and uses a right-of-way separated from other traffic modes. Thus, for me it is corresponding more to a lightrail transit service, but spaces between stations are around 600 meters and operating speeds reach only 50km/h. Did someone already have this problem in the past ?

Best regards,

Marion

Salut Marion, Le tramway de Paris est classé «lightrail». Il n'y a pas de différence entre <Streetcar> et <Lightrail>. <Streetcar> est la phrase américaine. Cordialement, Tony
