How to calculate / consider Elevators Energy consumption?

Is there any reference available to learn how to calculate and /or consider elevators energy consumption for both baseline and proposed models? As far as I know it should be considered as process load, but I don´t know how is possible to consider the consumption without having the technical data available. What kind of assumptions can be made? Any comments or suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks.

There is a default schedule in the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 User's Manual and I believe that COMNET also provides some modeling guidance on elevators. Elevator manufacturers can also be a good source of information. I would assume that you have some of the technical data based on the design of the elevator like motor size, etc.
