How to calculate co-drivers in vehicle or motorbike that another one is driving.

Hello,

In the frame of LTc1 - Alternative transportation we have conducted a survey in order to see how the regular occupants commute to and from the project premises. As one of the possible answers, the participants were asked whether they were co-drivers in vehicle or motorbike that another one is driving. I would like to know whether these answers should be taken into account as carpool or alternative transportation mode.
