Hi!
In the new LEED v4.1 i noticed that in the acoustic performance credit all reference to residential projects has been removed.
In LEED v4, for hotel rooms the sound isolation requirement was in the same line as residences.
In the LEED v4.1, for hotel rooms, the sound isolation requirement doesn't need to be verified or the space has to be characterized with the table options (ex.: private)?
Thank you!

Fábia,
Under version 4.1, residential requirments were removed from ID+C as a separate Residentail standard was created for single and multifamily. However, ID+C still applies to and includes criteria for Hotel spaces, as seen in the reverberation time criteria table. STC requirements specific to "hotel rooms" were removed from the STC criteria table, and now criteria is given by classifications of "private" or "confidential" at the project's discretion. That said, the Internation Building Code (and many local building codes) have a minimum criteria of STC-50 for dwelling unit demising construction inclusive of hotel guestrooms, which would comply with either space designation under LEED criteria.
