In the Indoor Water Use Reduction Calculator, would you agree that hotel guests count as residents rather than visitors with 5 usages per day instead of 0.5? Or should one enter something in “Other (Specify)” instead and say 3 usages per day?

Thoughts?

Hi Maria, I have a large resort-type project that includes a large hotel portion. I worked with GBCI to help clarify our user groups and confirm that our approach was appropriate. For that project, we have the hotel guests listed under the residents section in the calculator. We did not need to alter any of the fixture counts, so they all use the default uses per day that's already built into the calculator. Hope that helps.
