Hi, All!
The GIB Prerequisite states, that at least one whole building should be LEED certified. I understand that for the who neighborhood the given LEED v4 ND Plan will work. BUT, what rating system would work for the chosen building? Should I choose, f.e., NC (New Construction)?
Help, please.
Thank you.

Marine, you may use whichever LEED building rating system best matches your project's development program. Many ND projects use BD+C. It's also possible to satisfy the prerequisite using a non-LEED rating system if the alternative system satifies international certification program criteria listed in the ND v4 Reference Guide. Earthcraft and Edge are examples of approved non-LEED systems.

Would also BREEAM be an approved system?

Charalampos, a non-LEED system must comply with the ISO/IEC 17021 standard for certification bodies, and I imagine a well-established system like BREEAM would readily comply. A LEED ND project using BREEAM for the certified green building prerequisite or credit would simply include documentation of BREEAM's 17021 compliance, which may already be available from BREEAM.
