EBOM-v4 EQc8:Green cleaning - equipment

Green Cleaning - Equipment - Vacuum Cleaner

Do all vacuum cleaners certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute Seal of Approval (CRI) can fulfill the LEED requirement? In other words, if we wish to comply the requirement of EBOM-v4 EQc8, I just need to pick 40% of the total vacuum cleaners from CRI Certified Vacuums product list (https://carpet-rug.org/testing/seal-of-approval-program/certified-vacuums/)?

Or besides CRI certification, the cacuum cleaners still have to fulfill other requirements:

 · safeguards, such as rollers or rubber bumpers, to avoid damage to building surfaces;
 · ergonomic design to minimize vibration, noise, and user fatigue, as reported in the user manual in accordance with ISO 5349-1 for arm vibrations, ISO 2631–1 for vibration to the whole body, and ISO 11201 for sound pressure at operator’s ear; and
 · as applicable, environmentally preferable batteries (e.g., gel, absorbent glass mat, lithium-ion) except in applications requiring deep discharge and heavy loads where performance or battery life is reduced by the use of sealed batteries.

Proposed vacuum cleaners:

  1. TASKI Aero 8 Plus / TASKI Aero 15 Plus(CRI Certified)
  2. IPC Eagle 112 (CRI Certified)

Proposed deep cleaning extractors:

  1. PFX900S Prowler (CRI Certified)
