Would there be an opportunity here to include glass piping materials (esp for lab buildings and healthcare facilities) as a potential strategy to reduce the use of plastics which contain know hazardous chemicals (plasticizers)? Our product is already recognized as contributing to LEED credit 4.1 (VOC reduction because there is no need to solder or weld connections - just a mechanical hook up), Pilot Credit 2 (because there are no PBTs in glass), and Pilot Credit 43 (because we are UL-E claim validated as a low VOC emitting material).
