Greetings everybody,
We have a campus project. There are different phases of construction in the same campus boundary. We are working on the current phase lets say Phase A, and it has quite an ample area to fulfil Open Space requirements. But here comes the Phase B in the picture which will be constructed after maybe 5 or more years and it will take place that very space which under Phase A Open Space credit. As far as we know LEED 2009 had this requirement to keep the open space areas till the life of the building but it is not in LEED V4 anymore. So, what do you recommend how we should proceed with this credit? If anybody has a similar experience or has information pertaining to this question, then it'd be amazing to hear from you.
