Hi all, We are working in a retrofitting of an existing multi complex building (offices, hotel, retail ) that is planned to be certified as LEED v4 PLATINUM. As energy engineers, our task is to do the energy simulations for LEED v4. There is a data center outside the LEED boundary project that is currently delivering “free waste heat” into our energy system. We wonder if we should either include this “free waste heat” in our calculations for both the baseline and proposed scenario or remove it from our both scenarios. Regards

Include it. I think there may be a LEED Interpretation that addresses this issue.
