Option 1, Path 2: "During each day of the flush-out period, ventilation must begin a minimum of 3 hours prior to occupancy and continue during occupancy." How does this fit into a building that will be occupied 24 hours a day? Can we still use this option? It seems the three hour requirement would be so that any build up of off-gassing overnight would be sufficiently flushed before occupancy, so if the building is flushed 24 hr/day that wouldn't be an issue.

Alison, I think that you're right. Once you have delivered the initial 3,500 cf/sf, you would just have to continue to flush out at the required rate (0.3 cfm/sf or design rate whichever greater) 24/7 until the total volume of required air has been supplied.
