I am attempting this pilot credit on 2 different projects right now. I really like the intent of this pilot credit and I believe that it has the potential to drive change. A few items of note:
1. I believe the threshold for achievement is too high at 25%, because only 7-8 project product categories contribute to it (depending which rating system you are using).
2. I am having a little trouble getting details from manufacturers regarding if they actually achieved certain credits from the specific product certification that are spelled out in the pilot credit language.
3. For furnishing I believe some European standards might also need to be reviewed for inclusion.
All in all I think this is a great pilot credit and I hope I am able to achieve it on one of my projects.
