We're proposing 0.5 gpm faucts for a project and the client is demanding more information from other facilities on these faucets. Specifically he wants to understand the need for more recirculation loops and the costs. Does anyone have information on how many more recirc loops they add so that the hot water appears more quickly? This is an inpatient hospital and we're up against a Dept of Health regulation. He is also asking about sediment clogging up the water lines at the flow restrictors but I think we can filter this issue away. His facility standard is 2.2 gpm and they are pretty happy with that.
