Is it required to run FCUs or any other
units which just re-circulates the room air during flush out process?
If it is not required then we don’t want
to put the MERV 8 filters there, am I right?
Then for this case can we avail this credit by providing MERV 8 rated filters in all Treated fresh air units and also in the AHUs that distributes the fresh air to all the interior spaces through treated fresh air units?

Chellapillai- there is no need to do any indoor air circulation for this credit- this credit relies on the quantity of outside air brought through the building. While filtration is a good thing and may be required if you are also pursuing IEQ credit 3.1 and/or IEQ credit 5, this credit does not require any filtration for the outside air you are bringing in- you could essentially use a large fan to bring the air in for this credit if you can meet the temperature and humidity requirements.
