We have a question about facade lighting for a retail project. As the mandatory requirement, building facade lighting shall not exceed 0.2W/ft2 for each illuminated surface. But advertising signage is an exception in the requirement. In previous design, The building has a LED screen to sell advertising, so this screen can be excluded from facade LPD calculation, right? But in the current design, the screen is replaced by a LED wall, in which the LED light bulbs are embedded and evenly distributed, to display the mall's logo. So does the current design still fit the exception of advertising signage? Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes advertising lighting is exempt and this does sound like to qualifies. You will still need to include the energy use in both models identically as a separate process load.
