Our Project's exterior windows were installed prior to moving into the building. The make and model of the windows are thus unknow. What value do I use for the Tvis? is there a default value?

To my knowledge, there is no default value that USGBC allows. If you have access to a light meter and the windows are on the first floor, you could estimate the Tvis using: Tvis = Footcandles inside right next to the window/Footcandles outside right next to the window. You would need to take measurements with all of the lights off during the day. I have not tried this yet on a LEED submission though.
