I am currently working on a project with multiple buildings within the LEED boundary. The project will follow group approach registration via campus guidance. Up to my understanding exterior lighting credit requirements shall apply to the lighting installed on the boundary walls and fences, also exterior lighting credit requirements shall apply on exterior lighting for buildings which are higher in height than the project perimeter fences and walls, are this true?

Sorry for the delay, I got unsubscribed from this page somehow.
All exterior light must be included to document this credit. Include any lights on walls or on the building. The height of the light does not matter. Any boundary walls that blocks light can help reduce spill light.
Depends on the type of fence, but most fences have holes that light can pass thru. It would be hard to accurately model the fence in the lighting software. I don't include fences in my model.
Walls tend to be solid and block all light. So, practically speaking, a light mounted lower than the top of the wall will have all of its light at the perimeter blocked. But you still need to calculate the uplight from the light.
I hope this answered your question.
