I am hoping to start a list of manufacturers with Extended Producer Responsibility Programs (EPRs) that meet the LEED V4.1 criteria.
We are stuggling to achieve 2 points through recycled content, FSC and bio-based products, and have not had much luck with the EPRs.
I know a lot of flooring manufacturers have takeback programs. Those submittals are just starting to come in, but don't hold much in value. Are there any other large manufacturers you can recommend looking at?
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi Tracy,
ASSA ABLOY has thier Product End-of-Life Recycling Program, which covers a large variety of products. Additionally, Armstrong has their Ceilings Recycling Program (a list of compliant Armstrong ceiling products can be found here):

The majority of the EPR programs that I have seen have been for flooring manufacturers. Hope this helps!

Hello - great question. Not all EPR programs meet the LEED requirments, but USGBC has created a list of acceptable programs. Find the list in the publication called "LEED v4.1 Product Complaince Checklists and Tips." This free resource is found in the online credit library under the EPD, Material Ingredients, and Sourcing of Raw Materials credits in the online library. www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-v41-product-compliance-checklists-tips
