Hi. Is there a requirement to the expiration date of the certification? We just recevied a carpet with a Green Label plus certificate, which has an expiration date on the 31of decmeber 2017. Can we use this product, if the carpet is bought now, but installed after the 31st of December 2017?

Expiration dates do matter. You have to confirm that your products were actually certified when the specific products installed in your specific project were actually manufactured. So, for example, if you purchased the materials now (October 2017) and had the materials shipped to your jobsite next month (November 2017), you would then be fine. If you purchased the materials now (October 2017) and they weren't shipped to your jobsite until next year (say January 2018), then you would not be fine without a supplemental manufacturer letter confirming that the actual materials shipped to your job were physically manufactured prior to the expiration date.
If you're going to have questions related to delivery dates and tight windows, it may be worth asking the manufacturers if they are in the process of renewing the certification. You can always show two different GLP certificates for the same product to confirm compliance (such as one expiring on 12/31/2017 and another starting on 01/01/2018).
