Our LEED-CS project is a commercial office tower locating on the retail podium. The office tower only would be included in the LEED boundary as it is separately operated and the retail podium do not want to pursue LEED. The rooftop area (top 3 floors) of the tower will be F&B managed and operated by the retail management.

The top floors will have separate air handling units, outdoor air units, ventilation fans, lighting systems, and elevators. Electricity, chilled water, and cold water serving the area are supplied from the office towers plant but metered separately.

Can the top floor, including the building façade and the exterior roof surface enclosing it be excluded from the LEED projects boundary.
