If a company provides an EPD but it does not mention on it that it meets the ISO standards required, can we still submit it for LEED or do we need to have that verification?

Hi! Is EPD for finish products/materials only or also for raws? Can you give examples of products/materials with EPD's?

I'm recently handle this LEED project so I'm a little bit struggling to the requirements in order to attain req points. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ann, EPDs are mostly for finished products, but it really varies by industry. For example, there are EPDs both for cement and for concrete mixes made with cement. There is a fair amount of explanation about all this in the LEEDuser Guidance area, and much more depth on LEEDuser's sister site, BuildingGreen.com.
