Healthcare-v4 EQc1:Enhanced indoor air quality strategies

Enhanced Indoor Air Flows in Spaces under ASHRAE 170 clasification

Hello,

I am assessing the indoor airflow needs of an hospital pursuing credit EQc1, option 2. I was wondering if the exigence of EQc1 option 2 to increase flow rate by 30% in all occupied spaces also apply to spaces classified in ASHRAE 170. Indeed, for those spaces, the constraint is already very high and it could be very constraining to further increase the flow rates.

So could we exclude from the 30% increase requirrement the spaces under ASHRAE 170 classification? In this case, we would have to ensure a 30% increase only in spaces classified in ASHRAE 62.1. If it is not possible, it could imply a significant change in ventilation design of our project.
