Hi everyone
What is the most recommended energy simulation software you have used for the EAp2 requirement? My first options are Design Builder and Green building studio so I hope you can help me with the name of other ones

Not sure about the most recommended but the most commonly used software for LEED submissions include eQUEST, Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, and IES-VE, in addition to those you name.

Hi Antonio,
There is no specific preferrable energy modelling software to use from LEED.
It definitely depends on your project scope, complexity, and objectives for sure, as long as the software complies with and approved by LEED, then it should be fine to use. Here are the options for software that can be used for LEED Energy Modelling: EnergyPlus, EnergyPro, eQuest, HAP, IES, Trace.

To be clear LEED does not approve software. The software must meet the ASHRAE 90.1 appendix G requirements.
