Dear Everyone,
We have a warehouse project located in Spain. It won`t be equipped with heating, nor cooling system. I am not sure how to approach this.
I would like to assume thermostat setpoints due to ASHRAE 55 and simulate loads, next
1. If heating load is above 45 W/m2 - use System 9 for Proposed and Baseline - ( I don`t expect that)
2. If heating is below 45 but cooling is above 15W/m2 ( I expect that) should I use System 3 with cooling and heating setpoints from ASHRAE 55.
3. If they are below defined ASHRAE 90.1 level (45 W/m2 for heating and 15 W/m2 for cooling) I must treat them as unconditioned. What then? Focus only on lighting and plugloads which can bring me savings?
Can you ensure me that my approach is correct, then answer for variant 3?
Best Regards

Model the warehouse spaces as unconditioned in both models. Even if the baseline calls for a system there is an easy work around by setting the temperatures so the system never comes on. Rather than go through this exercise don't model the systems. This is the fairest comparison.
