LEED v4 states that “View glazing in the contributing area must provide a clear image of the exterior, not obstructed by frits, fibers, patterned glazing, or added tints that distort color balance.”
Clearly, electrochromic glazing / tinted glazing does not obstruct views. Has anyone applied dynamic glazing in their project to achieve LEED v4 EQ8,1 credit?

I'm #3 with same question. Since Interpretation 100002149 allows "automatically controlled dynamic glazing" to exempt projects from Daylighting Option 1 ASE requirement AND since spaces may not experience glare for much of a day, then electrochromic tinting would only be turned on for small portions of a day. Therefore, could dynamic/electrochromic glazing be exempted for Views also?

I am also curious if a project / certain rooms are disqualified if there are frits.
