According to ASHRAE 90.1 should meet a minimum efficiency for the HVAC equipment, and only appear values of efficiencies for Water Source Heat Pump and Groundwater Source Heat Pump.
As I can get values of efficiency for Air Source Heat Pump used for heating water, and comply with ASHRAE 90.1?

I assume you are asking about a minimum efficiency for heat pump water heaters? If so Table 7.8 does address them. The minimum efficiency is the same as any electric water heater. Since heat pump water heaters are more efficient than a standard electric water heater they more than comply, you should get some savings!
Let me know if I have not correctly interpreted your question.

When I refer to a unit ASHP, I mean a heat pump unit with air cooled condenser, which is capable of providing chilled water for summer time and hot water for heating in winter season.
I do not know the name you can have these units in the U.S., in Chile are known by the name of aerothermal heat pump or air heat source.
In any case, the response of water heater was helpful, but I would like to know how to get the minimum efficiency of the unit described above.

Thanks for the explanation. This type of unit is not used in the US as far as I know. It appears as if 90.1 does not have a minimum efficiency requirement. If it is not regulated by 90.1 then there is no minimum efficiency to meet.
Anyone else know more?

Marcus, at the following website there is a description of the units I have described.

the website is in Spanish.

As far as we can tell this type of equipment is not regulated by 90.1.

Wouldn't these be under Table 6.8.1B Electrically Operated Unitary and Applied Heat Pumps, "Air Cooled"?

I guess it comes down to whether the ARI standards (210/240 and 340/360) referenced in 90.1 apply to air-to-air heat pumps only, or also apply to air-to-water heat pumps.
Anyone have access to those standards and can find the answer?

The ARI Standard 210/240 and 340/360 exclude Heat Pump Water Heater, and the test procedure of ARI 210/240 and 340/360 are not indicated temperature of water (for cooling or heating).
In ARI 210/240 and 340/360 are not indicated specifications for air-to-water heat pump. There are some standard requirement for air-to-water heat pump?
Marcus, on the ARI website can download free the ARI standard.

That is what I thought. So 90.1 does not regulate this type of equipment. I am not aware of a standard for air-to-water heat pumps. In the absense of a standard, there would be no minimum efficiency requirement in 90.1.
