Dual toilet flush rate average

If we were to calculate the average flush rate of a dual flush toilet (with urinals present in the space) we use the example average flow rate equation provided by USGBC in their Appendix A water calculation document: [(male full flush uses*full flush rate) + (female full flush uses*full flush rate) + (female low flush * low flush rate)] / (male and female total uses/day) Male full flush uses would be 1 Female full flush uses would be 1 Female low flush uses would be 2 Male and female total uses/day would be 4 If we do not have urinals, how does this equation change? Should we have the total male and female total uses as 6 rather than 4? Would the final equation be the following:? [(male full flush uses*full flush rate) + (female full flush uses*full flush rate) + (male low flush*low flush rate) (female low flush * low flush rate)] / (male and female total uses/day) Male full flush uses would be 1 Female full flush uses would be 1 Male low flush uses would be 2 Female low flush uses would be 2 Male and female total uses/day would be 6 Thanks!

yes, your dual-flush weighted average calculations outlined above (with and without urinals) are correct.

Thanks Carlie! So if I have a dual-flush WC without urinals of 1.19/0.79 this would give me a weighted average of 0.92? Are weighted averages of a specific dual flush toilet higher or lower when urinals are present?

Yes, if you have a 1.19/0.79 gpf dual-flush water closet, this would equal the following weighted averages: - 0.92 gpf without urinals - 0.99 gpf with urinals

For Duel cistern flush system if one flush is 4 liter and another flush is 6 liter, then average flow rate is  =
