Double Ridership - access to transit station

If a bus servicing your LEED project connects to a bus transfer station (within 2 miles/10 min) of the project site. Can any of the bus lines serving the transfer station count towards meeting the 200 trips for Double Ridership? Thanks!

Hi Erin, the Reference Guide requires the project to be within 1/2 mile of at least 2 existing commuter rail, light rail, or subway lines or within 1/4 mile of at least 2 or more stops for 4+ public bus lines in order to meet the EP for double ridership. It sounds like your 2 mile distance will not comply but I'd encourage you to review the credit requirements again to be sure. Additionally, it is always an option to contact GBCI and provide a narrative for why your project is still meeting the credit intent.
