Does a Data Hall should be modeled with an Air Economizer in Baseline

Hi,

I am working on a Data Center Project in Chicago and the Economizer DB limit for Chicago is 70F which means 7100 hrs of the year Baseline Model uses Economzer, is there any exception that can be used to not to model Economizer in Baseline.

TIA

Chicago is climate zone 5A which triggers economizer requirement for baseline system types 3-8 per 90.1-2010 G3.1.2.7.Given this a data center, your baseline system falls under 3-8 depending on the building size and hence economizer is required for baseline. There are two exceptions - one for supermarkets, one for systems with gas phase air cleaning, none of which apply based on your project description. So, there is no way out of economizers for baseline. Thanks!
