Hi - I thought I had found somewhere that LEED requires you to continue counting products with EPDs (applies to HPDs/materials ingredients as well) even after you reach the threshold targeted by the project. This was supported in my mind by the change of the EPDs credit from design to construction earlier this year, but now I cannot find the reference I thought I had seen. Can anyone tell me if this is indeed required, or if we can stop validating EPDs after we reach 20 products? (our exemplary performance points are already spoken for).
Thanks!

You are not required to keep going beyond whatever your target level is. That said, we see most projects get to the exemplary performance so would always recommend going (if you need the point) and as with everything LEED, have a buffer if something gets kicked out (don't stop at 20 on the dot, get at least 25).
