Hello Everyone,
I am currently working on a beach resort project developed on a private island. The island has restricted access to the public; only the hotel guests and the support staff are allowed inside the island and the resort.
For complying with the Surrounding Density and Diverse Uses credit – Option:2, Is it accepted to consider the amenities (gym, restaurants…etc.) provided within the resort development for the credit compliance?
It is understood from the credit requirement that the amenities must be publicly available uses. However, in this project scenario there will be no public visiting the island except hotel guests and support staffs.
Please share your thoughts on this!
Thank you.
