Design Temperatures in Cooling and Heating - Must they differ 5 oF?

Hello to all,

When I am building the proposed building in my energy model has the design temperature in Cooling differ from the design temperature in Heating +5 oF?

For example if the design Temperature in Cooling is 75 oF, The design Temperature in Heating must be 70 oF?

Does this obligation exist?

Where can I find this written?

Thank you

This is not a requirement so you won't find it in writing. Your temperature settings should reflect the settings that would be expected in the space in question. The only requirement is that the settings must be identical in both models.
