Hello All,
I am new to LEED certification and will be going through my first certification process soon.
Now I am doing the building density calculation. The defenition of density is given as "A measure of the total building floor area or dwelling units on a parcel of land relative to the buildable land of that parcel"
Does the "total building floor area" mean the building footprint or is it the area of each floor?
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Total building floor area means the area of each floor, that is, the total square footage of space within the building.

Hi Emily Purcell
I am calculating Total Buildable Land, but I have read the forum that the 400m radius is not supposed to be a circle shape. Can you share the way how you demarcate the Total Buildable Land with 400m radius.
