Pilot-Credits MRpc52:Material multi-attribute assessment

Defining a product

Dear Mr Mrs,

I would like to know if for pilot credit Material multi-attribute assessment in LEEDC&S v3, should I take into account different products selection as is mentioned in LEED C&S v4 for materials and resources, credit environmental product declarations?

For example, I have a material which has an EPD and it is used for SOLAR PROTECTION in facade. The same material with the same EPD it is used for ceiling cover in the main hall of the building. So, as I understand because the same material it is used for two different functions I could count as double product, so it would count twice for pilot credit Material multi-attribute assessment in LEEDC&S v3.

Can someone confirm if this assumption is correct?

Thanks a lot

Kind regards
