For Data center project, I've supplied the designer team with the Data Center Calculator, so that they'd be able to fill it in with their project data.
However, There are some questions in relation to interpretation of some of the terminology used there, which are as follows:
1. How practically is "IT load influenced by the project (%) to be understood "? Assuming Total IT equipment load is 1000 kW, assuming that Startup IT load is 70%, assuming also that all spaces are finished (the project is ready for operation permit), then how this "influenced by percentages" to be understood? Does it mean that certain percentage of the IT total load will not be commissioned (or installed), no matter that all other building systems for covering IT total equipment load are installed.
2. In case IT load influenced by the project is 80% (example), does it mean that the resulting Startup IT load percentage is to be 56% - 70% x 80%?
3. The same question is related to establishing "PDU or UPS capacity influenced by project (%)" value, having in mind that at the time of project completion all HVAC systems, PDU and UPS equipment are installed and commissioned to cover the full IT load.
