Hello,
My understanding from the LEED manual is that the credit does not require provision of a dedicated cycle lane between the building and the bicycle network and I was wondering if someone could confirm if my understanding is correct?
Many thanks in advance for your time

Alicia,
I think that's right, but it may depend on your situation. If there is an existing bike network within 180 meters of the project and there is good access (walking or biking) between the building and bike network then you should be fine. If there isn't good access then you probably need to provide it. This has only come up for me once - we plan to connect the project to a rail station. There isn't direct access in place, so the project intends to provide access by creating a walkway with a bike lane.
